We all remember the fun-loving, curly-haired science teacher, whether she taught you or not. If anyone has anything to say, you're welcome to comment. I don't mean to depress anyone--good memories, like how she'd be nice, no matter what. How she'd make the cat dissection test easier and say, "Well, a lot of people found it confusing, so I decided you give you points anyway." How she made a difference in your life, whether it was small or big.
I remember one lunch, when I had to go to her room and talk about my dismal grades in her class. I don't think any of you knew it, but when I was talking to her, I started crying, and she was incredibly nice about everything, and offered some suggestions as to how to get my grade up. And the day after, she was crying about how much she loved all of us.
Ms. Contreras loved her students. RIP, Ms. Madeline Contreras.
